A first meeting between CPED, ANEF, JuriSupthe French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Elisabeth Moiron-Braud, General Secretary of the Miprof (Mission interministérielle pour la protection des femmes victimes de violences et contre la traite des êtres humains), had taken place in June 2018, to get to know each other and consider partnerships, particularly with regard to training on gender-based and sexual violence.

Following this initial meeting, Anaïs Vermeille, technical advisor at Miprof, got back in touch with us to move the partnership forward. A meeting took place at the Ministry on February 15. Régine Serra and Rozenn Texier-Picard (by telephone) represented CPED. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the tools put in place by Miprof, in particular a short film on sexual violence in the civil service entitled A woman like mebut also an interactive short film on harassment on the transport network, which is very well suited to a student audience.

Various avenues of work were discussed, such as the production of ESR-specific videos to raise awareness among staff in charge of identifying SSVs, or to reach out to the student public; the production of a specific kit for ESR, bringing together available tools on dealing with SSVs (guides, reflex sheets, regulatory texts, prevention tools...); the launch of an awareness-raising seminar for higher education and research staff; the renewal of training courses in autumn 2019, like those held in 2018 in partnership with MGEN... However, these various avenues require financial partners to be found.
