On July 16, 2019, Rozenn Texier-Picard, President of CPED, met with the management team of the Fédération Nationale de Conseil en Action Sociale de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche (FNCAS) : Jean-François Béteau, Chairman, Cyril Garnier and Joël Guervenou, Vice-Chairmen.
Founded in 1976, FNCAS aims to promote corporate social responsibility in higher education establishments and integrate it into their strategic challenges, through three watchwords: raising awareness, providing support, developing skills. Recognized as an expert in its field, it is widely supported by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
It's only natural, then, that FNCAS and CPED should explore new avenues of partnership. In addition to the prospect of cross-fertilization at our associations' respective upcoming events, the FNCAS wishes to integrate the equality-diversity aspect into its work with ESR players. A forthcoming FNCAS report for the DGESIPThe results of our current survey on equality and diversity missions will be incorporated into the survey. The possibility of organizing joint training courses according to the needs of the establishments was also raised. The FNCAS also expressed an interest in distributing the contact details for the VSS-Training networkwhich specializes in the fight against sexist and sexual violence in the ESR, and to which CPED contributes. Finally, a joint project focusing on parenthood and the articulation of life times could be launched at the start of the 2019 academic year.
CPED is delighted with these fruitful and promising exchanges. With professional equality set to become an important theme for CPED in 2019-2020, this partnership will enable us to tackle the subject in a decompartmentalized way for greater efficiency.
