The purpose of the meeting was to consider partnerships at national and regional level between CROUS and CPED member establishments.
The discussions were very positive. Several avenues of partnership were discussed:
- CROUS distribution of tools produced by the working groups (GT) on gender-based and sexual violence led by CPED and ANEFincluding the poster campaign on on gender-based and sexual violence, developed by the "Raising Awareness" working group and the "setting up a system" guide,
- distribution of the public directory CPED directory to CROUS CROUS directorates to encourage contact,
- register interested CNOUS and CROUS staff to our newsletter. CPED NEWSLETTER.
It was felt that CROUSs should provide CPED members with contacts of people who could be involved in measures to combat gender-based and sexual violence, and in prevention and training initiatives. A number of ideas have been put forward and will be explored in greater depth during future discussions.
Visit VSS-Training network will be asked to help build a training plan for agents, as well as procedures for dealing with cases of sexist and sexual violence.
The fight against LGBT-phobia is also a subject that CROUS has decided to tackle. exchanges are underway with Le Refuge association. For establishments working in this area, coordinated actions with CROUS could be relevant.
