CPED brings together the Equality-Diversity officers of higher education establishments. Since its creation 10 years ago, it has been committed to working with the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) to in the co-construction of equality policies between women and men and the fight against discrimination These include national equality days co-organized annually with the MESRI, in-depth work on gender-based and sexual violence (SGBV), and more recently the preparation of a guide to be published against discrimination, aimed at students and school staff.
Today, the positions taken by the Minister, Madame Frédérique Vidal, radically call this work into question and make us wonder. A week after her first interview on a television channel, the Minister reiterated in the Journal du Dimanche his words on "islamo-leftism…
