On June 23, in the wake of the 8th national day of equality missions in higher education and research, the following events were held 29th CPED meeting at the Université Côte d'Azur in Nice. In the superb rooms of the Château Valrose, a fifty mission managers - as well as some twenty online - were able to discuss the projects carried out in their establishments, share best practices, identify cross-functional issues and build joint projects.

First of all, a round table questioned the question of mixed streams. What are the best practices so that the sectors are balanced?

Corentin Clément Guillotin, from the Université Côte d'Azur, presented a survey on the orientation of high-school students, questioning gender and self-confidence in success. Abdenacer Makhlouf, from the Université de Haute Alsace, shared his experience of promoting math and IT-related fields of study to girls. Andréa Combre, from the Université Clermont Auvergne, went on to talk about a pilot research project as part of the "sciences with and for society" label. Philippe Liotard, from Université Lyon 1, described the MODULEO 2.0 project, an online module for first-year students that questions gender stereotypes. Angelina Etiemble, from Le Mans University, presented the survey on training courses and the feelings of students and teaching staff at the Claude Chappe Institute of Computer Science. Natacha Portier, from ENS Lyon, concluded with the doctoral support program and peer mentoring.

Various CPED projects were then unveiled, including the guide to recommending and archiving data relating to reports of SIV in the ESR and the guide to combating SSV in medical studies. We also returned to the online VSS awareness modulewhich schools will be able to use at the start of the school year, as well as the CPED prize in the Buzzons contre le sexisme competition.

We invited theVSS Student Observatory to present its Barometer 2023 and recommendations.

We were able to discuss theREMEDE surveydesigned with ONDES (Observatoire National des Discriminations et de l'Egalité dans le Supérieur) and administered with France Universités. Its aim is to establish a overview of equality missions and listening and reporting systems of ESR establishments. The results will be published in September.

Last but not least group workshops have identified the main issues and avenues of work on the following subjects: inter-institutional projects, LGBT+ discrimination, VSS systems, assessment of equality and gender diversity action plans.
