The confinement has not only disrupted the organization of higher education and research establishments (see our press release of May 7), but also aggravated inequalities in the domestic sphere. Women have typically taken on more domestic and parental responsibilities when telecommuting, but also more administrative and teaching duties, to the detriment of research activities.
