On Thursday, March 19, 2020, CPED's Board of Directors (BOD) elected Sandrine Rousseau, vice-president of gender equality and university life at the University of Lille, as the association's new president. <\/strong>A partial renewal of the board took place on this occasion:\u00a0Concetta Pennuto,<\/strong>\u00a0Vice-President of Equality, Diversity and Disability at the University of Tours, was elected secretary <\/strong>and\u00a0Pascal Tisserant<\/strong>Vice-President of Equality and Diversity at the Universit\u00e9 de Lorraine, as Treasurer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CPED currently federates 94 public higher education and research establishments around equality and diversity policies.<\/strong>. Its aim is to support the work of vice-presidents and equality and diversity officers by networking equality players, exchanging best practices and organizing training courses.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandrine Rousseau's mandate follows that of Rozenn Texier-Picard, accepted in November 2016.<\/strong>. Rozenn Texier-Picard, then Vice-President of Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility at ENS Rennes, has enabled CPED to establish itself even more firmly as a leader in its field. a key organization for equality and diversity and a driving force for public authorities<\/strong>We have also been working with the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The question of combating gender-based and sexual violence<\/strong>\u00a0in particular, has been a major focus for the association during its term of office, a project that the new board intends to pursue and develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For her major contributions to the association, she was awarded the title of honorary member, alongside Nolwenn Lecuyer.<\/strong>former vice-president of equality and anti-discrimination at Aix-Marseille University, member of the Board until January 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Sandrine Rousseau, the challenge will be to support and enable higher education establishments to design ambitious plans to reduce inequalities<\/strong>of pursue and amplify the fight against all forms of discrimination<\/strong> and Supporting mission managers at the plant level<\/strong> so they can carry out their mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
