{"id":2525,"date":"2025-01-13T10:55:41","date_gmt":"2025-01-13T09:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cped-egalite.fr\/?p=2525"},"modified":"2025-01-13T10:55:46","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T09:55:46","slug":"cped-leaves-x","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cped-egalite.fr\/en\/la-cped-quitte-x\/","title":{"rendered":"CPED leaves X"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Conf\u00e9rence Permanente des Charg\u00e9s de Mission \u00c9galit\u00e9 Diversit\u00e9 de l'Enseignement Sup\u00e9rieur et la Recherche (CPED) is withdrawing from the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By withdrawing from the European Code of Best Practice against disinformation and relaxing its moderation rules, X has become a space for the propagation of fake news, hateful, illegal and violent content. This editorial evolution also encourages all forms of harassment and violent exchanges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This ideological polarization runs counter to the values and raison d'\u00eatre of CPED: to support and make visible policies in favor of gender equality and the fight against discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many partners have already left this platform for similar ethical reasons. Together, we choose to contribute to making universities and schools inclusive and respectful, to build a more egalitarian world.CPED remains very active on LinkedIn, where you can follow all our news, as well as on Instagram.
